What a fun way to go have a great weekend! Compliments of All Twitter.
As you may know, I travel extensively between 50-60 global keynotes, various consulting engagements, and my writing efforts. As such, in my travels, I come across some really interesting images and thought they may be of interest / value to you. If nothing else, I tend to find them amusing.
This one at the concierge desk of a swanky international hotel – the problem was that a) the desk was vacant most times, b) when you call it from you room, it rings 15-20 times, and c) the two times I actually found someone and asked for help, they couldn’t help me!! I think "Not Now, Not You" may have been more appropriate…
Joking aside, what apparently good idea (strategy) is being poorly executed at the front lines in your company?
Don’t Call Me,
David

Check out the "Winning Ways" posted in both English and Arabic, inside a high-end hotel bathroom supply closet door – the guy in the mirror was cleaning, and I couldn’t help but to wonder:
Joking aside, do you have good intentions, poorly placed?
Aiming higher,
David

This one at a recent lunch date in Washington, DC. So – that’s where the extra ice from my drink goes; I just hope it’s not the other way around!
Joking aside, everything has a place in our office, in our lives, throughout our days. Where are you putting your excess capacity and could others make better use of it?
Be cool,
David

This one at the end of the jetway, leading to the plane. If this is the first time you’re seeing this sign, AND you’re my pilot, I’m taking another flight!
Joking aside, what key pieces of info should your people know well in advance of getting on board?
CSV, ATG, TXY, DLU – I’m amazed of re-org acronyms in some companies and the frequency in which they feel, shuffling the deck will make a difference in the performance, motivations, and the personal and professional growth of their people.
Have you ever felt this way?
Happy Holidays,
David
